Everyone had a great time at the annual Latke and Dessert Chanukah Party on December 23rd! The children sang, the parents enjoyed performances and the kids listened to Rabbi Goodman read a great story by candlelight. Thank you for all who helped decorate the Social Hall (Deborah Zukerman and Sisterhood), for heating the latkes, and for setting up the ice cream sundaes (Carolyn Hoera, Peter Tittler, Andrea Krupen). Thank you to everyone who brought friends and prospective members, too. Hope you all admired the beautiful stained glass windows that were created by the children during their Culture classes with Margie Edelman recently…they send a lovely reflection onto the parking lot.

As the winter weather descends upon us, don’t forget that Rabbi Goodman will send a phone chain around if we need to cancel school. A few inches of simple snow are usually okay, but if it seems that it will worsen during the morning hours, or is very icy, Rabbi and Carolyn Hoera will confer and make the decision. No bribes, please, one way or another! Use your judgment if you feel it is not safe to drive. Have a nice few months!
